Park Road Boardwalk, Noosa Floating Land: at the edge of ideas marks the 11th iteration of Australia’s premier art in the environment event. Reflecting Noosa’s national and international reputation as a community and a place that foregrounds care for and engagement with the natural environment, Floating Land focusses on the temporary installation of artworks that engage and collaborate with the special and spectacular spaces in which they are presented.

Travelling Colony was initially commissioned and presented by Carriageworks and Sydney Festival 2012.Travelling Colony (Noosa) has been supported by Arts Queensland through the Regional Arts Services Network, Blaklash, Butter Factory Arts Centre, Creative Arts Alliance, St Andrew’s Anglican College and Sunshine Beach State High School. River Listening from Source to Sea has been supported by the Australia Council for the Arts and Griffith University. Projects by Juan Ford, Ash Keating, Leonie Barton, Red Chair and Art forARTSake have been supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund. The Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Noosa Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
